Digital Advertising & Marketing Data Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for telling stories with complex data.

You will help install, maintain and optimise tracking codes for advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, 3rd party tracking such as Hyros, WickedReports, and CRMs such as Hubspot and Close[dot]io ensuring the tracking codes are healthy and feeding data accurately.

You will then organize the data and build clearly visible, management level tracking dashboards that give our clients crystal clear vision on not only their advertising and marketing campaigns, but how our campaigns impact the forecast cash flow and financial health of their businesses.

Your insights will help us manage the millions of dollars per month in ad spend we manage for clients and allow us to focus budget in the right areas that are providing the highest ROI for them.
Your dashboards will delight our client-partners for the clarity and peace of mind having clear and actionable data provides.

The Role

Develop Data Management

  • ​Integrate data from various platforms (e.g. Hubspot, Meta Ad Manager, Hyros….) into a centralized location for ongoing analytics
  • ​Foster a culture of measurability by implementing and managing data collection systems across various platforms, including tagging systems, data cleansing and KPI tracking mechanism, with a keen eye on client-centric objectives

  • Take the lead on the data governance initiatives, and deploy the appropriate framework, process and tools to improve data quality and reliability through effective data warehouse management and methodology application, enhancing client satisfaction and project outcome

Storytelling Through Data Visualization

  • ​Visual representation of performance and trends based on KPIs
  • ​Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, utilizing advanced techniques in data automation and analysis, particularly in the context of marketing agency experience​

Insightful Analysis to Drive Business Decisions

  • ​Perform in-depth analyses of diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations and provide actionable recommendations
  • ​Develop predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer acquisition, engagement revenue generation and customer retention

Optimize Productivity Through Continuous Improvement

  • ​Develop processes and tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy

  • Utilize automation to streamline processes and deliver real-time results​

Thrive in team collaboration

  • ​In close collaboration with Account Managers, Creative Team and Media Buying Teams, leverage data to identify opportunities in optimizing performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure timely delivery on those needs

Requirements

  • ​5+ years of hands-on data analysis experience in digital marketing, including paid search, social platforms and CRM

  • 3+ years of expertise in web analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics, Hubspot, Meta Ads Manager
  • ​​Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, insight discovery, particularly in client-facing settings
  • ​​Experience in data integration***
  • Ability to communicate complex findings persuasively to senior and executive-level clients, demonstrating a client-centric approach in communication
  • Proven record of experience in Business Analytics Platforms (preferably experience in Databox)
  • Knowledge of website tagging and tag management for accurate data collection, with an emphasis on client-related projects
  • Proven ability to automate data processes and perform in-depth analyses
  • Installation, maintenance and optimization of advertising tracking pixels and tags - Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HotJar, WickedReports, Hyros
