The Role

As Digital Advertising Tracking and Analytics Expert you are responsible for implementing and maintaining advanced advertising tracking codes, integrating various marketing tools, and providing insightful analytics to optimize client campaigns and reporting.

Tracking Implementation and Maintenance (50%)

  • Install and manage advertising tracking codes at an advanced level, including Meta Pixel, Google Conversion Tracking, TikTok Conversion Tracking, and others.
  • Implement third-party tracking solutions such as Hyros, WicketReports, ClickMagick, and RedTrack.
  • Utilize integration tools like Google Tag Manager for efficient tag management across campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting (50%)

  • Provide actionable insights to enhance advertising strategies and client outcomes.
  • Pull funnel conversion rates into reports and dashboards to give a comprehensive view of advertising and marketing performance in order to highlight current constraints.
  • Employ automation tools like Zapier and Make (Integromat) to streamline analytics and reporting processes.
  • Generate customized reports focusing on deeper insights such as demographic data, customer journey analysis, creative performance, average order value, lifetime value, and lead value over time.Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Google Data Studio and Databox to visualize client-specific ‘North Star KPI’ metrics performance metrics.

In summary, as Tracking & Analytics Expert you will be responsible for crystal clear and accurate tracking across all of our client-partner accounts, and building insightful visualizations of the data with key performance indicators.

The Responsibilities & The Impact You'll Have

Tracking Implementation and Maintenance

  • Install and configure advertising tracking via Google Tag Manager using best practices.
  • Advanced level implementation of platform tracking codes including: Meta Pixel Codes, Google Conversion Tracking, TikTok Conversion Tracking, Snap Conversion Tracking, Bing Conversion Tracking, Pinterest Conversion Tracking
  • Implementation and maintenance of advanced, third party tracking systems such as: Hyros, WickedReports, ClickMagick, Redtrack
  • Audit existing tracking setups, assess health and accuracy, then create a project plan for improvement.
  • Collaborate with client-partner development teams to implement necessary technical solutions.
  • Maintenance of tracking code health and proactive monitoring of 'up-time'.
  • Create and update SOPs based on new findings and evolving platform changes.
  • Update troubleshooting archive to speed up resolution of future tracking issues.
  • Document tracking setup and maintain a detailed change log.
  • Regularly audit and update tracking setups to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking-related issues promptly.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Integrate, synchronize and compile data from advertising platforms, funnel and website platforms, sales CRM systems, form tools, calendar booking tools and other marketing platforms.
  • Design and update interactive dashboards reflecting real-time data.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide specific recommendations for optimization based on the data.
  • Prepare in-depth reports on customer demographics, behavior patterns, and journey mapping.
  • Deep analytic research into customer behavior, demographics, platform and placement specific performance to autonomously provide insight and suggestions to the media buying department.
  • Seek out additional analytic insight to go above and beyond and provide 'above and beyond' insight to the client about their business and audience.

The Required Experience, Skills, Abilities & Attributes You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing advertising tracking codes across all major digital advertising platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Bing, Pinterest
  • Strong understanding of the setup and maintenance of third party advertising tracking and attribution tools: Hyros, WickedReports, ClickMagick, Redtrack
  • Proficiency in using Google Tag Manager to ensure optimal page load speed and best practise.
  • Demonstrable experience using integration and automation tools such as Zapier, and Make (Integromat) to compile data and create automated, realtime reporting.
  • Experience implementing tracking workflows and pulling data from CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, HighLevel, ClickFunnels) and form/calendar tools (e.g., Oncehub, Calendly, Typeform, Jotform).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools like Google Data Studio and Databox.
  • Familiarity with project management and communication tools such as ClickUp and Slack.

  • Knowledge of analytics programming fundamentals (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, SnowFlake) for data analysis.
  • Certifications in digital marketing analytics or related fields.
